School Business Manager - Coventry
Are you an experienced and strategic School Business Manager looking to join a forward-thinking and ambitious secondary school? A high-performing school in Coventry is recruiting a School Business Manager to lead on finance, HR, operations and compliance from January 2026 .
About the Role:
This full-time, permanent position will involve overseeing the school’s financial management, leading HR administration, ensuring compliance with health & safety and safeguarding regulations, managing premises contracts and supporting the school’s strategic development. You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to drive operational excellence.
About the School:
The school is well known for its excellent behaviour, strong leadership and professional, collaborative working environment. Staff feel valued and supported, and the Business Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth running of the school. You will join an experienced operations team with a clear structure and strong systems in place.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience as a School Business Manager or senior operations leader
• Has strong financial, HR and organisational skills
• Is confident managing teams and implementing systems
• Communicates effectively and works strategically
• Is detail-focused, efficient and committed to high standards
