We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our People Team. This is a pivotal role supporting operational divisions to deliver high-quality patient care through effective people management and workforce strategies.

To provide, guidance and support to managers and staff on all aspects of HR including, terms and conditions (Agenda for Change), job evaluation, absence management, managing performance and capability, disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE and employment law.
Advise on organisational change programmes in accordance with annual plan and Cost Improvement Programme (CIP) requirements.
Produce monthly divisional workforce metrics in order to inform, monitor and challenge divisional performance.
Support the divisional team in re-designing job roles and functions to improve service delivery and financial stability with reference to CIP.
Completion of proactive Workforce Planning with divisions in support of Divisional capacity to align with the annual planning process Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 284,300, providing inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community. Walsall Manor houses the full range of district general hospital services under one roof. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and the continued upgrading of existing areas ensures the Trust now has a state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and Integrated Assessment Unit facilities. A new Urgent Emergency Care Centre was opened in March 2023. The two-storey development has significantly improved emergency care facilities and capacity and has provided almost 5,000 square metres of additional clinical space.
