We are supporting a growing technology and professional services organization in the expansion of its Palantir practice and are looking for an experienced Practice Director to lead the next stage of growth.

This is a senior leadership position combining Palantir delivery, practice building, commercial ownership and people leadership . The successful candidate will lead forward-deployed teams working directly with enterprise customers while helping build the commercial and operational engine behind a growing Palantir capability.

The Role

You will take ownership of the growth and delivery of a Palantir-focused practice, leading engagements spanning Foundry, AIP, Ontology, operational AI and rapid application development .

You’ll oversee multidisciplinary delivery pods consisting of Forward Deployed Engineers, Forward Deployed Strategists, Software Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers , while working closely with senior customers, internal sales teams and strategic technology partners.

This isn’t purely a delivery leadership position. You’ll also be responsible for helping develop the pipeline, partnerships, talent strategy, financial performance and go-to-market approach of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a growing Palantir professional services practice , with responsibility across delivery, commercial growth, talent and operations.
• Own and oversee complex Palantir engagements from discovery and solution design through development, deployment and production adoption .
• Lead forward-deployed delivery teams embedded directly with customers, using an agile, iterative approach to rapidly build and deploy operational solutions.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance across Foundry, AIP, Ontology, data pipelines, applications and agentic AI workflows .
• Recruit, mentor and develop FDEs, Deployment Strategists, Software Engineers and ML/AI practitioners.
• Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities, shape solutions, support proposals and lead strategic pursuits.
• Build relationships with C-level executives, technology leaders and mission owners , acting as a trusted advisor on complex data and AI initiatives.
• Own engagement economics including resource planning, budgeting, utilization and delivery performance .
• Help build reusable accelerators, reference architectures, delivery methodologies and case studies.
• Develop and strengthen the organization’s relationship with Palantir and the wider partner ecosystem .
• Support the development of thought leadership, technical workshops and market-facing content.

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly interested in candidates who combine commercial leadership with credible Palantir delivery experience .

Ideally, you will bring:

• 12+ years of leadership experience , including significant consulting or professional services experience.
• Experience owning or helping operate a business line, practice or P&L .
• A track record of building, launching or scaling a technology consulting/service capability.
• Strong hands-on or delivery leadership experience with Palantir Foundry, Gotham and/or AIP .
• Understanding of Ontology design, data pipelines, operational applications and production deployments .
• Experience leading forward-deployed, pod-based delivery teams working directly alongside customers.
• Leadership experience across FDE, strategy, software engineering and/or AI/ML teams.
• Strong commercial experience across business development, pre-sales, account growth and strategic pursuits .
• Experience managing complex transformation and platform implementation programs.
• Strong financial and operational management capabilities.
• Executive-level communication skills and experience advising senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in high-stakes, regulated, government, defense or complex enterprise environments is advantageous.
• Previous experience developing a strategic partnership with Palantir or another major enterprise software platform provider would be highly valuable.

Travel: Candidates should be comfortable travelling up to approximately 30% during peak periods for customer engagements, business development and team initiatives.
