Scheduler / Project Control Manager – Train Manufacturing

Contract: 6 Months
⏰ Hours: 40 per week
Hybrid working possible after initial onboarding period

We are currently seeking an experienced Scheduler / Project Control Manager to support a major train manufacturing project based in Madrid.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile rail project and play a key role in project planning, scheduling, and controls within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6
• Support project control activities including earned value analysis, progress tracking, and reporting
• Interface with project teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule integration and updates
• Produce regular project performance reports and schedule analysis
• Identify risks, delays, and opportunities within project timelines

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
• Solid understanding of project control functions , including:
  • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Reporting
  • Interfacing and coordination
• Previous experience within the rail/train industry is beneficial but not essential
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively within a project-driven environment
