We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care services to individuals in their own homes throughout Stockport and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of our customers.
It is essential to drive with your own transport for this role.
We currently do not have any sponsor licences.
*Duties*
- Assist customers in their own homes throughout Stockport and surrounding areas with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
- Communicate effectively with customers, families, managers and healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to customers
- Using an App based system for record-keeping and communication purposes
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
- Ability to drive with use of own transport is essential
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities
