Role Summary As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support learning across the classroom, deliver targeted interventions and provide individual support where required. Key Responsibilities Support teaching and learning within Year 5 classes. Deliver small group interventions to reinforce learning and build confidence. Provide one-to-one support for pupils who require additional assistance. Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials. Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and participation. Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. Monitor pupil progress and share observations with teaching staff. Contribute to a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. Pay and Progression The daily rate for this position starts at £98 per day and increases to £124 per day after 12 working weeks, subject to relevant agency worker regulations. Candidates with previous school-based experience, relevant qualifications, SEND experience, intervention delivery experience or a proven track record supporting pupil progress may be considered for opportunities at the higher pay rate where applicable.
