We are seeking an enthusiastic, academically driven, and committed Biology Teacher to join the thriving Science faculty at a highly regarded secondary academy in the prestigious Westminster area of Central London.

The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Biology specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous, practical, and engaging lessons in the life sciences. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice, particularly at the A-Level , and contributing to the department's consistent record of placing students in Medicine, Dentistry, and Biological Sciences courses.

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .

• A relevant degree in Biology or a closely related discipline.

• A proven track record as an excellent Biology Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level) .

• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities.

• The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.

  • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale (The Inner London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £40,317 as of September 2025).

• A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
