Rotational Dietitian B5

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHSGGC Dietetic Service for a Band 5 Clinical Rotational Dietitian. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and development of a clinically effective dietetic service across Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Clinical Rotations Within The Adult Dietetic Service Include

  • Oncology
  • Rehabilitation/Neurosciences
  • Surgery/Critical Care
  • Respiratory/Medical/Gastroenterology
  • Pharmacy Services Prescribing Support Unit (PPSU)

The Post Holder Will Deliver Care In Accordance With

  • Service Standards
  • National Professional Standards of Practice
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics

All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Permanent, Full-time

Base location - Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, clinically effective dietetic service.
  • Support the ongoing development and improvement of dietetic services.
  • Provide dietetic care across a range of clinical specialties through rotational placements.
  • Deliver care in line with professional, national and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain compliance with HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

Essential

  • A BSc in Dietetics (minimum qualification requirement).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  • Membership of the PVG Scheme/Disclosure Scotland.
