Product Development Manager (Mascots & Displays)

We are excited to be hiring a Product Development Manager who will be specialising in Mascots and displays. This role will be a key part of the production team and will transform our themes and characters into key pieces for exciting events.

You'll be;

• Managing the development of mascots and large display pieces from initial concept through to final production and ensure products meet safety and operational requirements where applicable.

• Reviewing creative concepts and assess feasibility, construction methods, materials, and manufacturing requirements.

• Creating and maintaining development timelines and critical paths for all projects.

• Acting as the primary liaison between UK teams, the Korea office, and Far East manufacturing partners.

• Communicating construction requirements, technical specifications, and feedback to suppliers.

• Advising on materials, structural elements, internal frameworks, and fabrication techniques.

• Supporting planning for events, retail installations, and promotional activations involving mascots and display pieces.

You'll have;

• Experience in product development/costume design/theatre production/prop fabrication, exhibition design/experiential marketing/visual merchandising, or a related field.

• Strong project management and organisational skills.

• Experience working with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.

• The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The ability to be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience working within structured development timelines and critical paths.

• Strong attention to detail for visual quality.
