This is a fantastic neurological service which delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions As the Charge Nurse your key responsibilities include:

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RGN with an active NMC Pin + Strong Neuro experience at Charge Nurse/Ward sister level ** The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £43,000 per annum. - Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams
- Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes
- Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support
- Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
- Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Tracheostomy, ventilator, PEG, catheter care competent practitioner
- Experience in leading a team within the complex Neurological/Respiratory care environment
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
- Relevant experience in a similar environment
- Proven track record of leadership skills
