HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E)
Experienced Class 1 Drivers Wanted
We are looking to recruit professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client's busy transport team based near Swindon. If you are a safety-conscious, reliable driver seeking consistent work with a supportive employer, we'd love to hear from you.
What's on Offer?
- Days £17.00 per hour between 06:00 - 18:00
- Nights £18.00 per hour 18:00 - 06:00
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Well-maintained fleet
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across regional and national routes form Swindon. The role involves a mixture of general haulage.
Duties Include:
- Operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
- Ensuring loads are secured correctly using appropriate restraints
- Carrying out daily vehicle defect checks and reporting issues
- Completing all transport and delivery documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Adhering to all driver hours, working time, and road transport regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC & Digi card
- Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
- Maximum of 6 minor penalty points
- Container experience preferred but not essential
