Senior Science Technician - Outstanding School in Bedford
A large and forward-thinking secondary school in Bedford is seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician to support its dynamic Science Faculty.
This role would suit a knowledgeable and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational setting and takes pride in maintaining high laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the preparation of materials and apparatus for practical lessons
Lead on chemical storage, inventory control and equipment maintenance
Ensure all labs meet health and safety requirements
Support teachers during complex practical demonstrations
Oversee stock ordering and budget tracking
Provide guidance to junior technicians
