Your Role:

• Lead and manage the SEND department, ensuring high-quality provision for all students with additional needs.

• Oversee the implementation of EHCPs and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.

• Coordinate interventions and support strategies to improve progress and outcomes.

• Line-manage Learning Support Assistants and provide coaching and guidance.

• Work with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support.

• Contribute to the wider school improvement strategy and pastoral care provision.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or be working towards it.

• Have proven experience working with SEND students in a secondary setting.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Be committed to inclusive education and equal opportunities.

• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
