Design Technology Teacher – Flexible Supply Opportunities
Are you a Design Technology Teacher looking for flexible work or a longer-term position from September?
We are supporting secondary schools across Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas with their recruitment for DT Teachers.

Opportunities are available across day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements.
We are keen to hear from teachers with experience across different areas of Design Technology, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, Food Technology and Textiles.
The role

• Teaching DT across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering practical and theory-based lessons
• Teaching towards GCSE where required
• Supporting students with design and practical projects
• Maintaining safe working practices in practical environments
• Planning lessons for longer-term placements
• Assessing student work and monitoring progress
• Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

We are looking for:

• QTS or relevant teaching experience
• Secondary DT teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge and practical skills
• Confidence working in a practical classroom/workshop environment
• Good classroom management
• A commitment to student progress and achievement
• A reliable and professional approach
