We are looking for an Indirect Category Buyer to support sourcing activities across a range of indirect spend categories. - Support the development and delivery of category sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activity across indirect categories such as professional services, facilities, IT and logistics.
- Support supplier selection, tender processes and contract negotiations to achieve commercially sound outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and identify procurement opportunities.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring service, quality and contractual commitments are met.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation and continuous improvement.
- Support contract management, compliance and risk mitigation activities.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
- Knowledge of indirect procurement and sourcing methodologies.
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CIPS qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
