GSL Education London Branch is looking for an experienced Maths/Computer Science Teacher to join an independent secondary school for boys in Lewisham from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Maths/Computer Science Teacher to inspire students, develop their knowledge and help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

As a Maths/Computer Science Teacher , you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Computer Science lessons across secondary year groups.
* Teach lessons that are well structured, challenging and accessible to students of different abilities.
* Use a range of teaching methods to encourage students to participate and develop their confidence.
* Assess students' work and monitor their progress, providing useful feedback to support improvement.
* Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and effort.
* Create a positive and respectful classroom environment.
* Support students in developing strong mathematical, digital and problem-solving skills.
* Work closely with colleagues to contribute to effective curriculum planning and student development.
* Take an active role in the wider life of the school.

Requirements

* Proven experience teaching both Mathematics and Computer Science.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Computer Science.
* Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
* A positive, enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
