IQVIA seeks a flexible registered nurse in Derby to provide clinical support for a patient with Spinal Muscular Atrophy in a research trial. The role involves approximately one patient visit monthly and includes vital signs monitoring, phlebotomy, infusion administration, and investigational product support.
Responsibilities
- Perform urinalysis and collect blood samples via phlebotomy
- Record and monitor vital signs during patient visits
- Administer investigational product and IV infusions
- Provide patient-centred nursing support and clinical care
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
Requirements
- Nursing degree or equivalent qualification
- Current NMC registration and PIN
- Strong phlebotomy skills and IV infusion experience
- Paediatric nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Experience administering medications or investigational products
- Current DBS clearance advantageous
