Senior Support Worker

Salary: £27,135 - £28,901 per year
Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in Leyland, supporting adults to live independent, fulfilling lives.
As a Senior Support Worker , you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support while leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker who is looking to progress their career with a supportive and well-established care provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans
- Support with personal care, medication, and daily living activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and positive outcomes
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of Support Workers
- Complete assessments and update care plans as required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
Skills & Experience
- Experience working within adult social care
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker , Team Leader, or similar
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
- Medication administration experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable
