Heavy Grinder - Weekend Shift
Location: Redditch
Pay: £14.00 per hour + £140 weekly shift allowance
Hours: Friday & Sunday, 05:30-18:00 We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Grinder to join a busy manufacturing environment in Redditch. About the Role * Operate heavy grinding equipment to remove excess material and finish components
* Use heavy equipment supported on the shoulders during operation
* Work to required quality standards and inspect finished components
* Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times
* Follow all health & safety procedures rigorously
* Collaborate effectively as part of a busy manufacturing team About You
No previous grinding experience is required, as full training will be provided. However, some prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, production, or another hands-on environment is preferred. We are looking for a candidate who is: * Physically fit and capable of undertaking a demanding role
* Comfortable using heavy tools and equipment
* Reliable and committed to weekend working
* Hands-on with a strong work ethic
* Eager to learn and willing to undertake training
* Able to follow instructions and work safely Pay & Hours * £14.00 per hour, plus a £140 weekly shift allowance
* Friday: 05:30-18:00
* Sunday: 05:30-18:00 Approximate annual salary: £25,480 including the weekly shift allowance, based on 25 paid hours per week. No previous grinding experience required - full training provided.
