Primary school Lead Teacher

The Montessori School of Mallorca (Santa Maria del Cami) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher with a progressive and creative approach to teaching. The successful candidate will have the skills, energy and vision to enhance teaching and learning within both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (years 1-4).

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential and who place strong importance on pastoral care and student wellbeing.

We are seeking a teacher who:

• Holds relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent) 

• Has at least two years of classroom experience 

• Is familiar with the British curriculum 

• Has the right to work in Spain (preferred) 

• Is a fluent English speaker 

• Can contribute to planning across Years 1–4 

• Has strong knowledge of phonics and reading development strategies 

• Delivers engaging, creative and well-structured learning experiences 

• Provides a broad and balanced curriculum with appropriate challenge and support for all learners, working closely with our WISE team 

• Sets consistently high expectations that inspire and motivate students 

• Creates a well-organised, stimulating and inclusive learning environment 

• Understands the importance of the consistent application of school policies 

• Recognises that education extends beyond the classroom and values excursions, outdoor learning and experiential opportunities
