Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea is seeking an Associate / Associate Director to join the London-based Engineering Services Real Estate team, supporting some of the largest and most prestigious healthcare projects across both the public and private sectors. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of real estate projects and masterplans while supporting ongoing professional development and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities, including feasibility estimating, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial management, fee generation, dispute resolution, and post-contract administration.
• Promote a safe and secure working environment while supporting the organisation's values and culture.
• Foster team engagement, collaboration, and high performance.
• Drive performance standards through effective communication, coaching, and performance management practices.
• Contribute to a range of projects requiring technical evaluation, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and project stakeholders.
• Communicate project scope, responsibilities, and expectations clearly to ensure effective project delivery.
• Manage and oversee service delivery to achieve high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services within the MEP space
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
• Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
• Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
• Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
• Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
• Previous experience within Health or Life Sciences is preferrable,
