Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering lessons for learners with a variety of SEND, including but not limited to PMLD, SEMH, SpLD, ASC, and challenging behaviour.
• Adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of learners
• Using summative and formative assessment to monitor progress
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other relevant professionals
• Follow the school's policy for behaviour management to create a positive learning environment
• Report any safeguarding concerns to the DSL

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status
• SEN Experience
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
