Visiting Singing Teacher

£48.48 per hour
Part-time

Contract: Zero hours contract

Hours: Approximately 6 hours per week initially, subject to pupil demand

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented singing teacher to inspire young voices and nurture a passion for singing and performance at Bradfield College.

We are seeking a talented and accomplished Visiting Singing Teacher to join our thriving Music Department and work with pupils of varying ages and abilities, helping them to discover their individual voices, develop secure and healthy vocal technique, and grow in confidence as performers.

You will bring expertise in contemporary commercial singing styles, alongside the ability to teach musical theatre repertoire. Through stimulating, individually tailored lessons, you will develop pupils' musicianship, vocal skills, stylistic interpretation and performance confidence, encouraging each pupil to achieve their full musical potential.

We are looking for an adaptable and encouraging teacher who can inspire singers at every stage of their development, from enthusiastic beginners to accomplished performers. You should be educated to degree level, with previous experience of teaching both pop and musical theatre repertoire, a strong understanding of vocal health and the needs of developing adolescent voices, and the ability to prepare pupils for concerts, examinations, auditions and other performance opportunities.

In return, Bradfield College offers a range of benefits, including a contributory pension, life cover, health cash plan, subsidised sports facilities, free parking and lunch when the College kitchens are open.
