Location: Coventry
Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Position: Permanent, Full-Time

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment in Coventry.

We are looking for someone who is confident working with sheet metal and has practical experience using a Press Brake , alongside strong welding and fabrication abilities.

About the Role
You will be responsible for producing and fabricating sheet metal components to a high standard. The role will involve a mixture of Press Brake work, welding and general fabrication , so a varied skill set is essential.

Duties will include:

* Setting and operating Press Brake machinery
* Fabricating components from sheet metal
* MIG and/or TIG welding
* Cutting, bending and forming materials
* Working from engineering drawings
* Measuring and checking finished components
* Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
* Working to production requirements and deadlines

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
* Good Press Brake operating/set-up experience
* Proven welding and fabrication skills
* The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Good measuring and inspection skills
* A reliable and hardworking approach
* The ability to work both independently and within a team
