The school is conveniently located for candidates travelling from Dukinfield, Denton, Ashton-under-Lyne, Audenshaw, Stalybridge, Gee Cross, Newton and Hattersley , with excellent transport links across Tameside and Greater Manchester.

The Role
As a School Cleaner, you will:

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Work across different areas of the school on a rotational basis.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and materials.
• Support the wider premises team in maintaining a safe environment.
• Report maintenance or health and safety concerns where necessary.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial cleaning desirable but not essential).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable, flexible and hardworking approach.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
• Ability to provide a full two years of employment and/or education references.
• Right to work in the UK.
