Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver

About The Role

As a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver you will play a key role in the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring that trade and retail customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, good organisation, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare automotive parts for delivery or collection

• Receive incoming deliveries and check them against purchase orders

• Store parts correctly and keep the warehouse organised and tidy

• Load and unload delivery vans safely and efficiently

• Assist with regular stock checks and inventory control

• Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items

• Support delivery drivers with loading and route preparation

• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

• Provide occasional support to the parts counter or customer service team when needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stockroom environment is preferred but not essential

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines

• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

• Basic IT or handheld scanner skills

• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy

• Full UK driving licence
