Site Manager
Location: Bradford
Start Date: 1 September
Duration: Approximately 10-12 weeks
Rate: £300-£325 per day, depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a groundworks project starting on 1 September.
The role will involve overseeing groundworks on a new site, potentially within or connected to an operational chemical factory. Experience working within a chemical or industrial environment would be beneficial, although strong groundworks experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day site activities and groundworks operations
Supervising subcontractors and site personnel
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards
Maintaining accurate site paperwork and documentation
Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed
Liaising with the project team and other site stakeholders
Monitoring progress and ensuring works remain on programme
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a strong groundworks background
Previous experience working on industrial or chemical sites would be advantageous
Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
Good site paperwork and documentation skills
SMSTS or equivalent qualification
3-day First Aid qualification
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively
This is a 10-12 week freelance opportunity with an immediate start in September, offering £300-£325 per day depending on experience.
