Hyde is looking for a Compliance Data Administrator (Safer Homes Officer) -to join our team in Chichester. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration, data management or compliance experience who wants to help keep homes safe, services running smoothly and records accurate.
You will support our Safer Homes programmes by managing compliance data, processing certification, producing reports and helping to resolve access issues so that safety checks and works can be completed on time. You will work closely with Contract Managers, contractors, colleagues and residents, making sure information is accurate, risks are escalated and customers receive a reliable service.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Manage Safer Homes databases, ensuring compliance data is accurate, up to date and maintained in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements.
- Process, check and analyse certification and programme information, identifying gaps, anomalies or risks and escalating issues where needed.
- Produce reports and dashboards to support contract monitoring, programme performance and decision-making.
- Support Contract Managers with the delivery of safety programmes, including gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos and other property compliance workstreams.
- Lead on no-access and referral cases, liaising with residents, contractors and internal teams to arrange appointments, resolve issues and support safeguarding requirements.
- Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations, taking ownership of queries and helping to drive issues through to resolution.
- Provide administrative and operational support, including raising works orders, processing invoices and maintaining clear records.

- Experience in administration, data management, compliance, housing, property services or a similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage data accurately and spot issues before they become bigger problems.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and manage a varied workload.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work with residents, contractors and colleagues in a clear and professional way.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, with the confidence to take ownership, escalate risks and support continuous improvement.
- Great customer service skills
