Are you a reliable pet lover in Belfast? I'm Nikki, a devoted pet owner looking for a caring pet sitter to help with my dog and cat. I'm seeking someone who is passionate about animals and can provide both daily dog walking and overnight care. I need assistance for my furry friends while I'm away 4th -11th July Jet my cocker spaniel is a rescue dog and as a result has a great deal of anxiety which can manifest in pacing, panting and not liking to be on his own for long periods. Ideally I would like someone to either stay with Jet or let him stay with you. He takes a while to settle and will need to get used to your surroundings. He is medicated twice a day to help him cope with his anxiety. The ideal candidate should be experienced with both cats and dogs, have a flexible schedule, and be dedicated to providing a nurturing environment. Dog: Jet by name, Jet by nature! This wee boy is a rocket 🤪 full of run, loves walks, water, his duck toys, chasing birds, rolling in muddy puddles and cuddles on the sofa. Jet has separation anxiety, but we are working on this and he has got better over the last 6 months! Being a rescue, Jet is learning indoor doggy etiquette, it’s hard whenever you e been used to freely roaming the streets. But each day he is getting better and loves the comforts of his own home. Jet loooooves human attention. He will bark for attention, run into another room and shut the door, then bark for you to rescue him. He isn’t the biggest fan of being around other dogs. He will happily sniff and say hi to dogs but doesn’t like to play or be in long term company of other dogs. Jet is OBSESSED with food or anything he can eat!!! He has such a wee scavenger side that he’ll make a meal of anything, so an eye needs kept on him when out on walks. Talking of walks, Jet is doing well with recall off the lead. When we go to the park or beach he is mostly off the lead. If he gets carried away either sniffing he may not hear you calling him. Jet has a lot going on but he has a lot of love to share. Cat: Kit is a sweet wee woman who is happiest in her own company. She likes a wee head scratch and he bowl to be constantly topped up with food.
