Lead Planner

Want to work on one of Hong Kong’s most significant rail infrastructure programmes?

We’re looking for a Lead Planner to join the client-side team supporting a landmark Rail programme, involving approximately 15km of new tunnels and five new stations, involving seven TBMs.

The programme is currently at tender stage, giving you the opportunity to get involved early and genuinely influence how this major programme will be delivered.

Why this role?

• Work at programme level – focus on strategy, integration and delivery rather than getting buried in detailed planning
• Lead a team of six planners and provide direction across the programme
• Influence major contractors and challenge programme assumptions, sequencing and delivery strategies
• Shape the programme from the outset, including tender evaluation and mobilisation into delivery
• Work across some of the most complex tunnelling and rail interfaces in Hong Kong
• Gain high level exposure to a major client-side programme with significant long term career potential

What you’ll need

• Experience in working as a Lead Planner or Planning Manager, with a strong background in major rail projects (think Crossrail or Hs2 or similar)
• Experience in a client side position, meaning you’ll be comfortable operating at programme level and managing teams and senior stakeholders
• Experience in managing upstream reporting
• Be an expert with P6

On offer is a salary of around HK$110,000 per month, private medical, life assurance, pension and 39 days holiday (inclusive of public holidays). Mobilisation flights will be covered, and you will be housed in temporary accommodation for the first 4 weeks.
