Now we're looking for Part time Business Support Assistants who are organised, proactive and motivated to join our Business Support Team Why join us?This isn't just an administration role. You'll be the backbone of our Children's Social Care services, ensuring our frontline teams have the support they need to focus on what matters most – improving the lives of children and families. Every call you answer, every meeting you coordinate, every record you maintain and every task you complete helps our social workers deliver the very best outcomes for children and young people. The role Are you highly organised, detail-orientated, and passionate about making a difference? Join our dedicated Children’s Social Care teams and play a vital role in supporting services that help children, young people and their families. What you’ll do . Duties include inputting and retrieving information into the Liquid Logic database, organising meetings, manage key financial tasks, including petty cash, notetaking/minute taking, preparing, and sending letters and other office tasks to support our social work professionals. - Provide essential administrative support to social work professionals.
- Accurately input, update, and retrieve data using the Liquid Logic system.
- Maintain accurate records in line with statutory procedures, legislation, and corporate standards.
- have excellent communication and strong IT/keyboard skills
- the ability to use these skills confidently in a conference/meeting situation
- have a clear understanding of the need for confidentiality.
- are customer focused and have a high level of commitment to work in partnership with service users.
- Hold 3 GCSE passes (4 to 9 or equivalent) including Mathematics and English Language; and/or Level 2 in Business and Administration (or equivalent)
- Have previous experience in a similar role covering a broad range of support tasks and procedures
- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling data and financial transactions
