Supplier Governance Manager

This role involves managing governance and performance oversight of clinical trial service providers, including CROs and functional service providers, to ensure compliant and efficient delivery supporting Amgen's clinical trials. The position requires leading oversight committees, monitoring supplier performance through KPIs, managing risks, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and strengthen supplier relationships. The successful candidate will have clinical research experience in biopharmaceuticals, knowledge of GCP and FDA regulations, and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance oversight committees and performance reviews for clinical trial service providers
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions when needed
• Identify, assess, and manage supplier risks with timely escalation
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to optimize clinical trial service delivery
• Drive process improvements and standardization across supplier organizations

Requirements

• Degree-level education
• Clinical research experience in biopharmaceutical organizations
• Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and international regulatory guidelines
• Experience managing clinical research suppliers and service provider models
• Project management and process improvement capabilities
• Experience in global, matrix organizational structures
• Advanced stakeholder management and autonomous work skills
