About the role

We're looking for a Registered Manager to open and register a brand-new 4-bed home for boys with EBD/LD in Carlisle. You'll play a key part in setting up the home, recruiting and shaping the staff team, and establishing the culture and standards of care from the outset.

What we're looking for

• A strong Deputy Manager ready for the next step, or an experienced Registered Manager, with at least 2-3 years' experience in a senior management role within children's residential care

• A track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted reports - if applying as a Deputy Manager, please include reports from homes you contributed to under your Registered Manager

• Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) as a minimum, and hold or have started your Level 5 in Leadership and Management

• Experience working within, or running, a children's residential home at a senior management level

• Willingness to be open and transparent about any safeguarding concerns, disciplinaries or failed fit person assessments

• Salary expectations in line with the advertised package and your level of experience

• Able to commute reliably to the home
