Your Role As Engineering Project Lead, you will provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle, from initial customer proposals through to product launch and entry into service. Working closely with engineering, programme and manufacturing teams, you will ensure products meet technical requirements while delivering against quality, cost and schedule targets. You will play a key role in guiding technical decisions, managing engineering activities, and ensuring the final product meets customer expectations and regulatory standards. This is a highly collaborative position, bringing together a range of specialist teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
• Support project planning, including schedules, budgets, risks, and mitigation activities.
• Monitor progress across multidisciplinary teams and help resolve technical and project challenges.
• Provide clear and regular project status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Manage technical requirements, specifications, and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to design reviews and key project milestones, ensuring high-quality technical deliverables.

• Degree qualified in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical or related discipline).
• Preferrable experience within aerospace or defence manufacturing environments but could also come from automotive or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver technical solutions while balancing quality, cost and schedule requirements.
