Senior Finance Manager | Disruptive Tech/Gaming Scale Up | Remote (UK)

Our client is a leading scale-up in the intersection between technology and gaming. Driven by entrepreneurship, creativity, and collaboration, our client is creating a unique and lucrative business model turning heads in the space.

The Role

This is a fully-remote, sole-charge finance manager role responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the finance function. There will be lots of business partnering across departments and with executives, providing great visibility. Your role will be primarily to ensure all reporting and financial operations are in order, with an emphasis on crypto payments and wallets.

Additionally, some oversight and contributions regarding commercial finance and financial planning are required, helping drive financial transparency and forecasting for the executive team. Budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and cashflow analysis are all a big part of this role.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and have dedicated Crypto experience within their career. Strong communication skills and the drive to work with ambitious founders is a plus.

This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities (fiat + crypto)
• Oversee AP, payroll, intercompany transfers, and Xero reconciliation
• Act as a commercial partner to founders and senior team
• Deliver clear monthly reporting, forecasting, and insights
• Build and maintain financial models across the group
• Own budgets, forecasts, and performance tracking
• Monitor fiat and crypto balances across wallets/accounts
• Model short- and long-term liquidity needs
• Handle external data requests and investor updates
• Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, and confidence-building
• Support commercial initiatives with financial modelling and input
• Ad hoc tasks to support the Founders/Exec team

What We Need to See (Essential)

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA Fully Qualified
• Crypto and crypto transaction experience
• Experience using EOR (Employer of Record) platforms l

What We'd Like to See (Bonus)

• Previous experience in a Web3 or Blockchain business
• Previous experience as a sole-charge finance manager

Package:

Salary: £75,000-£85,000 (potential flexibility)
