The Role
- Supporting conveyancers with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions.
- Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
- Requesting searches, obtaining information and chasing outstanding paperwork.
- Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Providing a high standard of client care throughout the transaction.
- Previous experience in a conveyancing assistant or residential property role.
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach to client care.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with case management systems would be beneficial.
