We are recruiting for a General Engineering Operative for our client based in Daventry
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Pay: AM shift £13.66 per hour | PM shift £15.49 per hour
General Engineering Operative Responsibilities
- Part numbering to identify and organise components, assemblies, and products.
- Deburring metal components using hand tools, grinders, or deburring machines to remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections.
- Cleaning and washing parts to remove oil, swarf, and contaminants before inspection or assembly.
- Inspecting parts for quality and defects after deburring and washing.
- Following Health and Safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
General Engineering Operative Requirements
- Previous warehouse, production, or engineering experience.
- Computer literate with the ability to follow systems and processes accurately.
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Able to measure
