Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance
\n Bristol | Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) | 4-6 Month Contract | Weekly Pay | ASAP Start
I'm currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance opportunity with a well-established Bristol-based business with a turnover of circa £5m & roughly 25 employees. This is a hands-on Number 1 finance role, reporting directly to the Owner/Managing Director and acting as the main point of contact for all finance matters across the business. You'll work alongside an experienced in-house bookkeeper who manages payroll, giving you the autonomy to focus on providing financial leadership, commercial insight and maintaining strong financial controls.
\n Key responsibilities include:
\n * Owning the finance function and leading all financial activities across the business
\n * Producing management accounts, cash flow forecasting and financial reporting
\n * Supporting the MD with commercial decision-making and business planning
\n * Managing budgeting, forecasting and process improvements
\n * Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance
\n * Working within Sage 50
The ideal candidate will be:
\n* An experienced Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller operating as a Number 1 in Finance
\n * Comfortable working in a small business environment and wearing multiple hats
\n * Hands-on, commercially minded and proactive
\n * Available to start ASAP
\n * Able to commit to 4 days per week on-site in Bristol
