First Recruitment Services are recruiting an Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Eastbourne. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering long-term stability and development for the right candidate. Role Summary As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling products and components to the required specifications and quality standards. You will work as part of a manufacturing team, ensuring products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling products and components following specifications and work instructions
- Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Checking completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Identifying and reporting faults, defects, or assembly issues
- Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets
- Maintaining accurate production records where required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
What We’re Looking For
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and processes
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
