The Role

• Teach History across KS3 and KS4, delivering a well-structured curriculum.

• Develop pupils' understanding of chronology, historical interpretations and key events.

• Teach source analysis, extended writing and examination techniques.

• Assess pupils' progress and use feedback to address gaps in understanding.

• Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative departmental planning.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS and a relevant History teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge and experience teaching secondary History.

• Can make complex historical concepts accessible and engaging.

• Uses assessment and differentiation to support pupils of varying abilities.

• Maintains high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.

Salary
