- Supporting the behaviour, wellbeing, and attendance of students across the school
- Working 1-2-1 with students who require additional emotional or behavioural support
- Liaising with parents, carers, external agencies, and internal staff to ensure coordinated care
- Helping implement pastoral interventions, behaviour plans, and attendance strategies
- Supporting safeguarding processes and ensuring concerns are followed up correctly
- Contributing to whole-school behaviour and wellbeing initiatives
- Recording pastoral concerns accurately and maintaining organised case files
- Promoting a positive, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere for all students
- Experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or safeguarding role within a school setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused
- An understanding of the challenges faced by young people in secondary education
- The ability to work collaboratively within a busy pastoral team
- A genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing and personal development of students
