Our client is a well-established and growing infrastructure construction company specializing in roadworks, civil engineering, and public infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth and expansion of its project portfolio, the company is looking to strengthen its operational team with an experienced Road Construction Site Supervisor.

About the Role

As a Medior to Senior Road Construction Site Supervisor , you will be responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of road construction and infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in road construction with proven leadership experience in managing construction teams and subcontractors on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day roadworks and infrastructure activities on-site.
• Lead construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout project execution.
• Monitor project planning, progress, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Organize and lead site meetings, progress reviews, and toolbox talks.
• Identify risks, resolve operational issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, clients, utility companies, and public authorities.
• Oversee site logistics, equipment usage, and material management.
• Prepare site reports and maintain accurate project records.
• Ensure projects are completed according to contractual requirements and company standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction (roadworks/wegenbouw) .
• Experience in a Medior or Senior Site Supervisor, Site Manager, or Foreman role within infrastructure projects.
• Proven involvement in at least two road construction projects with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of roadworks, utilities, civil infrastructure, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and engineering drawings.
• Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and quality management practices.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a dynamic site environment.
• Valid driving license.

Language Requirements

• Dutch (mandatory) – professional proficiency required.
