Class 2/7.5T Driver

Here at  GXO Logistics , we are looking for a full-time, permanent Home Delivery Class 2/7.5T Driver for our professional home delivery team in Doncaster, DN4 5PD.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, with the start time window of 04:00 and 06:00 working Monday to Friday, with no weekends!  This is a hands-on role, involving manual handling, lifting heavy items and is full of variety!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Driving a Class 2/7.5 Tonne Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
• Delivering bathroom products to warehouses and showrooms
• Collecting and logging returns  
• Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 or 7.5T grandfather entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
