Investigator Scientist (Maternity Cover)
Starting Salary £44,801 to £47,071 per annum

Applications are invited for an Investigator Scientist (Maternity Cover) position in the laboratory of Dr. Marta Shahbazi at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. The main aim of this position is to complete an ongoing project on the mechanisms of conversion of human embryonic stem cells into the naïve state. 

The ideal candidate should have:

• A PhD in stem cell biology, developmental biology, or another relevant research area. 
• Significant experience working with human embryonic stem cells.
• Prior experience on gene regulation and transcriptomics would be desirable.
• A strong track record of research.
• Evidence of commitment, originality, ability to communicate, and working with others.
