Interim VAT Director (Fortune 500), London, £500 to £650 per day
£500 - £650 per dayA Fortune 500 technology business is seeking an immediately available VAT Director for a 9-12 month contract. This is a newly created role based in central London.
You will:
- Implement the VAT function, establishing best practice for VAT compliance and reporting
- Provide guidance to the group on VAT implications on group operations
- Liaise closely with external advisors and international tax authorities
- Answer group VAT queries on an ad hoc basis
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA or HMRC trained
- Proven VAT leader with experience of working within an in-house role
- Preferable – experience of implementing a VAT function and dealing with historic issues
- Highly astute and confident, able to lead a function and able to communicate clearly with c-suite/senior business partners
