Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is working with a welcoming primary school in Newport to recruit a passionate Nursery Teacher to join its Early Years team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school that values creativity, curiosity and child-centred learning. As the successful Nursery Teacher, you'll help create a nurturing classroom where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn through play.
Whether you're a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) looking for your first teaching role, an experienced Nursery Teacher seeking a new challenge, or simply someone with a genuine passion for Early Years education, this school would love to hear from you.
The successful Nursery Teacher will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching within Nursery or the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), or be an enthusiastic NQT ready to begin their teaching career.
* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning opportunities that support children's development.
* Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
* Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
* Be able to provide two recent professional references.
