A beautiful independent school in Dorset is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art ECT to join its Art department from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a supportive independent school where creativity is highly valued and students are encouraged to develop their artistic skills and confidence.
About the role
The successful candidate will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity, experimentation, and the development of strong technical skills.
As an ECT, you will benefit from excellent mentoring and support from an experienced department within a school that values professional development.
The role will involve:
Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivering lessons exploring a range of artistic media and techniques
Supporting GCSE Art coursework and portfolio development
Encouraging creativity and artistic expression within the classroom
Supporting exhibitions and displays of student work
You will work closely with experienced teachers who will support your development as you begin your teaching career.

Qualified teacher with QTS or completing teacher training
