The role is full time, working 36 hours a week and for a fixed term of 12 months. We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows and will agree how you will balance office and home working to suit you best. During your first few months, you will be expected to attend the Swindon office on a regular basis to help establish stakeholder relationships, gain valuable business knowledge, and support your successful integration into the role. Working closely with project sponsors (SRO), stakeholders and colleagues in Technology Services, you will ensure that your projects are effectively resourced and appropriately funded, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of your project teams and finances. You will monitor progress and flag up risks and issues, at all times utilising the agreed project governance and standards to support successful delivery. As IT Project Manager, you will have a proven track record in delivering successful projects and work packages against time, cost and quality objectives. On a day-to-day basis you will ensure that your projects are effectively resourced and appropriately funded, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of your project teams and finances. You will monitor progress and flag up risks and issues, at all times utilising the agreed project governance and standards to support successful delivery. To be considered as an IT Project Manager, you'll need: - Proven experience in delivering Technology projects including software and infrastructure. - Experience in stakeholder management and business engagement. - Experience of managing and working within projects involving teams drawn from different organisations and disciplines. - Able to communicate effectively and persuasively with staff at all levels across the organisation as well as a range of partners and third parties outside English Heritage. - Able to manage and organise potentially conflicting priorities for both personal workloads and across project teams. We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering Software as a Service (SaaS), web-based, cloud, or cybersecurity software type implementation projects. This role is focused on the successful delivery of software and business change initiatives, working closely with customers, vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders. Please note, this is not an infrastructure-focused project management role.
