An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planning Solicitor to join a highly regarded Leeds based legal team working on major infrastructure, energy and strategic residential developments. This role offers exposure to high quality work advising a range of clients including developers, landowners, corporate organisations and public sector clients. Client Details Our client is a nationally recognised commercial law firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high profile legal work across the UK. The client is consistently ranked in the top tiers of Chambers and Legal 500 for planning work. Description The Planning Solicitor will be: * Advising on major infrastructure, energy and strategic residential development projects * Working with national developers, landowners and corporate clients on complex planning matters * Working closely with public sector organisations and infrastructure providers * Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non contentious planning work * Drafting and negotiating planning agreements and related documentation * Working with senior lawyers on large scale and high profile development projects * Building and maintaining strong client relationships Profile The Planning Solicitor should be / have; * A solicitor with at least 1 years PQE in planning law * Experienced in handling planning and development matters within private practice or local government * Comfortable advising clients on a range of planning related issues * Commercially minded with strong communication skills

- Salary ranging from £67,000 to £80,000 per annum.
- Bonus of up to 35%.
