Supply Chain Associate
Temporary, Full-time
To support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods accurately and safely, while maintaining high standards of organisation and housekeeping.,
- Receive and check incoming deliveries against relevant documentation.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within required timescales.
- Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure they are correctly labelled.
- Carry out stock checks and assist with regular stocktaking.
- Keep accurate records of stock movements and warehouse activities.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment where trained and authorised.
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and warehouse processes.
- Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the appropriate manager.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Carry out other reasonable warehouse duties as required. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not always essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Forklift/FLT experience or certification is advantageous, where applicable. The role may involve regular lifting, carrying, bending and standing.
- May involve working to targets and deadlines.
- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn where required., Contributory Pension Scheme (up to 10.5% company contribution)
